Our story
The Paper Sailor is an independent gift shop on Fore Street, St Ives. The space is filled with carefully chosen items including vintage maps, botanical prints, work from independent artists, Rifle Paper stationery and cards, cookbooks, home organisers, and everyday homeware. The interiors are light and airy with natural wood shelving, designed to make browsing a pleasure. You'll find a mix of vintage-inspired pieces and contemporary gifts, all thoughtfully displayed. Open Monday to Saturday 9:30 to 5:30, Sunday 10 to 5.

Beautiful little shop, something a little different from the standard Cornish gift fare in St Ives. Well curated items to browse through and owner was friendly and helpful. Spotted some fabulous independent artist prints too - definitely worth a visit every time.
Visited St Ives recently with my husband and popped into this wonderful independent shop. The two ladies were really friendly, although unfortunately their card machine went down. They were apologetic, but these things happen, wasn't their fault and we weren't bothered! So we nipped round to a cash machine and back again. Happy to support a small independent shop, with beautiful items, good prices and lovely staff.
